Boston Marathon

There are a few things you can only do living in Boston... One of those is watching the Boston Marathon run less than 3 miles past your house. It is one of the few events that rain or shine (or wind this year) we get out to support the runners.
This is the start of the first wave, and when it starts getting fun! These runners are enjoying the atmosphere as much as we are (it helps that we are at mile marker 3... not 23)
This is Z watching for the wheelchair racers, they are amazing and not surprisingly loved by my wheel/car obsessed boys!

Can you see K1's hand between E and Z? One amazing charity runner ran by and gave high fives, then realized he had missed K1 and TURNED AROUND to come back and give him a high five! Amazing!

I think E spent the most time out of anyone giving high fives! She loved it!

By the end K2 was just ready to be done, and I think the rest of us were felling the same way. But we still walked along the route to get some ice cream at DQ... some things are just too important!
